Swansboro Derby Days Event

OCPAW (Onslow County Partners for Animal Welfare, Inc.) is so blessed to have been chosen again this year as one of the recipients of the sold-out annual Derby Days Event held at the beautiful downtown Swansboro waterfront.


 This event is made possible by (Swansboro Area Events Organization) and The Swansboro Development Foundation, local businesses, volunteers patrons. What a difference they all make for the animals in our Onslow community.

The Swansboro Area Development Foundation, Inc, partnered with (Swansboro Area Events Organization) for their first annual Swansboro Derby Day Festival. This beautiful event awarded a $4000.00 check from the event proceeds to OCPAW (Onslow County Partners for Animal Welfare, Inc, along with three other local organizations. 


 We are so grateful our organization was selected for their very generous support for the animals that we will be able to help with this funding.

Swansboro Area Youth Development Foundation (SAYDF) 

Swansboro Area Youth Development Foundation (SAYDF) a subsidiary of the Swansboro Area Development Foundation, Inc. (SADF has selected Onslow County Partners for Animal Welfare Inc. (pictured) and Protectors of Homeless Pets of Carteret County as recipients of a portion of the funds they have raised this year. 

The purpose of establishing the SAYDF was to involve area teenagers in local government, event planning, community development and improvement and to teach them the importance of volunteerism and civic responsibility. 

 Each of the organizations mentioned received a check in the amount of $250.00 to assist with their funding needs. http://www.sadfnc.org/youth.html
